This is a recipe I found in a lost-to-time TikTok from a Great Depression era cookbook. The result is a nutty, fluffy bread that’s surprisingly good for its humble ingredients.
Combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Mix in milk and peanut butter. Add some extra if it’s crunchy peanut butter.
Transfer to a greased loaf tin and bake on the middle rack for 60 minutes at 325F.
