    Peanut Butter Bread

    Ingredients

    • all-purpose flour 2 cups
    • granulated sugar 1/4 cup
    • baking powder 4 tsp
    • salt 1/4 tsp
    • milk 1 1/3 cup
    • peanut butter 1/2 cup

    Instructions

This is a recipe I found in a lost-to-time TikTok from a Great Depression era cookbook. The result is a nutty, fluffy bread that’s surprisingly good for its humble ingredients.

    1. Combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

    2. Mix in milk and peanut butter. Add some extra if it’s crunchy peanut butter.

    3. Transfer to a greased loaf tin and bake on the middle rack for 60 minutes at 325F.
